Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

Did you sauce your tires at OCRC. It is a must to get steering and traction.

Is this in mod or 17.5?
Thanks for the input. Not to exclude anyone else from answering, but I thought OCRC guys might already know something I don't... I figured the at least one answer would be to try the weights, but since they are so hard to find...

This is for 17.5. Not ready for mod yet.

Thanks again.

Yes, saucing with SK pink or white. Honestly can't tell the difference between the 2.

finally got my kit today. don't remember seeing it mentioned here, but if you're using B5 pucks, the smaller shims that are recommended and actually come in the MIP shim kit for converting a B5 puck system to a B6 don't fit. the shim has a slightly larger OD and will not go all the way through the hub carrier. i haven't yet gotten to building the rear shocks so i don't know if there will be an issue with the pucks not being seated far enough in the outdrives yet.

I am only using the diff shims for the B6. no hub spacers use at all. no issues

Not true at all. It's called satellite. Sure a track's Internet makes it convenient, but at some point they need to figure out their own WAN transport solution.

LMAO I'm sorry, but you're suggesting that LiveRC build out a Satellite based private WAN to carry customer's video traffic? I can assure you that will never ever ever happen. Thanks for the laugh tho!
