Carpet tyre question above, yes to the schumachers.
Rears: Minipin 2 yellow compound with a tubby insert
Fronts: cut stagger low profile, yellow, no insert.
Minipin 1 has slightly less grip, as does as stagger rib, in comparison to those above, should you need to lose dorm grip at one end.

B6 carpet / ozite
The B6 is sick on carpet. The only change I've made from the kit setup is shorten the rear camber link from the inner most hole to the center hole.
Need to free up the car a bit, so much rear grip it's stupid. The odd thing is, I suspect our gray ozite doesn't have the traction that the new black CRC stuff does, but I need more steering at any rate. Running schuey yellow mini pins rear and yellow cut stagger slim low-profile front. You're mother could drive this thing. Rear end won't step out for nothing.
Any carpet/astro guys with ideas? Need a pinch more front bite. Is there a front tire with more bite than the one listed above? Considering trying the same stagger in silver compound.

Without knowing anything about what you are doing with option parts and setup....generally look at setup sheets from eos races. The cars all sport a front wing and brass pieces in the front. You are trying to make a car with a rear weight bias have steering. To do this you need to shift that bias towards the front. Both static and once the car is moving. A brass front bulkhead would be a good start. That kind of weight would help dig the front end going in to a corner and allow less transfer to the rear when exiting. Go to petit rc setups and have a look at the carpet section for the b6. Great place to start gathering the basic of ideas. Neil Craigg always has a balanced easy to drive car. Never a bad starting point for reference

Im about a page late on this, but I would not recommend sticky a$$ electrical tape for motor wires. Use snakeskin or heat shrink instead (or zip ties if you're out). And as for the ball cups, run a 3mm tap through them, the grease does practically nothing.

Anyone running a 66t spur?

Unreal how many people are struggling with ball cups. Chuck a tie rod in your drill and run it in and out a few times. An extra 10 minutes goes a long way. Do all your right hand cups first, switch drill to reverse and do the others.

Yep. Just get some cheap chinese RH and LH taps. I love them.

It's no longer available on the AE website and PEtitRC direct linked to their website IIRC.
