I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM). Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter: I think I count as an authority on the matter. I always run my diff screw on the right side (when sitting "inside" the car). I take off the tire and pull the outer hinge pin to get to the adjustment screw.
The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

LHS confirmed. Kits ship from AE Thursday to them. They are not allowed to sell until Monday.

I have to admit I ALMOST left the lhs with a Losi 22 3.0 yesterday. I decided to wait the extra week for a Associated kit to come out. So Losi packs 2 sets of wheels...their laydown transmission conversion costs $180.00. I'll get the AE kit, but come on guys, toss in a set of wheels. White! We can dye them our favorite color. Looking at stock class for now, slowly upgrading the important parts, then someday jump up to mod.

And whoever said yellow wheels are faster; maybe, but they'd look like crap with my paint scheme so I'll be a bit slower but looking oh so good!
haha. Calebs and Jeremy's are dialed. My xb2 is a tad off so I am looking forward to the b6. Wish I could have it for this weekend at extreme.

I have a 3.0 too, and it's a really good car but....I'm getting rid of it and the B6 is on order! I had to chuckle early on when I was reading some people are mad at AE for releasing the B6 only 2 years after the B5! How would you feel to buy a 3.0 and then have them release a $180 laydown kit a few months later!?!? I'm seriously thinking of selling my 22sct and 22-4 and going all in on AE if this kit is half as good as I think it will be. My last AE kit was a RC10 Team Car back in the early 90s.

I know a few grams per rim can make a difference when you're taking about rotational mass but has anyone actually weighed the difference?

White wheels are 2 grams lighter per wheel than yellow wheels measured on my postal scale. But jokes on you I special ordered clear wheels. 4 grams per wheel!!! 😂

Make sure you get the PET wheels, they have a number 5 in the recycle symbol on the insides of the wheels. And make sure you recycle them after you're done. Most of the bigger indoor tracks have a bin right next to the Coke machine.

Converting from b6D to b6
Is there a typo in this list? 91709. Is the chassis brace the same as the waterfall brace?
