Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

Travel is the same for the two shocks, they both use 27.5mm shafts.

Correct. You benefit from the larger volume of oil in the longer bodies.

Would be nice if they extend the e-cash promo like they did in December. Christmas in July!

Off by a day. I wonder if it really ships or at least processed payments yesterday for those that back-ordered and they got the e-cash as that July 11 date might be in the way.

I wouldn't pay any attention to that date. You'll have it long before that.

The bottom where Kody talks about shock eyelets is one of the issues I know of.

I was just told by Tower that items are in stock but can't be shipped until Monday, due to "an agreement with the manufacturer."

Must be the deal that Matt was talking about.

I think I asked this pages ago, but what is that benefit of more oil at the top exactly?

there is another minor issue, but I can't remember it. It's on FB. It was't a big deal IIRC.

Also, they are recommending to NOT use 2 Ti screws on the steering rack for plastic and aluminum racks.

edit:

the other small error has to do with the bag 5-8 step 3 hat bushings. wording and picture are opposites.
