Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

Then how did friends in Japan end up with kits already? And no, they're not team drivers.

So if I live around the corner from AE can I just knock on their door or should I fly to Japan to get a kit this week?

Ca glue on the towers may prevent that from happening. The other shock mount screw looks bent too.. Must have taken a big hit!

Durango boots and filled with grease.

Great idea, but they won't save wear any better than you'd like.

I never doubted that the kits were overseas put together. Funny how they shoot me down, No they are not going on a boat ride to North America, LOL. And of course it goes to AE then ships out to Distributors and Dealers and the big online stores.

Agree with Socket some markets getting them are closer to China like the RC8B3/T3 series went proves it all.

The FB post stop calling us were packaging, LOL

Made it sound like it was all in California, Ha Ha.

Just teasing, I would say 3 to 5 business days now window right? For the minor North American market.

You're going to have to wait about a week to get an answer. Only a select few have the kit until then.
