Charts for Quick reference:

1) put inner bearing in hub
2) slide large shim over axle all the way up to the back of the axle
3) slide axle/bone into hub carrier
4) slide small shim onto axle through hub carrier
5) push outter bearing into hub carrier

using that i'm able to put my normal male silverback gorilla wheel nut tightening job and there's no binding. in the pictures that come with the shims (the pic socket posted) it seems like they want you to slide both shims onto the axle before sliding the axle into the hub carrier and like i said, that doesn't work.

I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM).

Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter:

The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

I'm not sure about that design for the way you have to cut the body to allow the lay down slipper nut to stick out. Seems like a better design could have been molded to cover all of the lay down like the stock body.

The B6 body actually looks pretty decent.

The JConcepts S2 body will be released next week, and the spur gear will be covered

Does anyone know if 25gr C brass arm mount asc91690 can be mounted in B6D configuration?. It appears only as B6 laydown car option parts in Team Associated webpage.
The reason maybe there are not enough space with B6D trans motor plate.....???

It looks like the predator body was cut for the standup tranny and shown with a laydown.

I was thinking the same thing. It would be nice to have the extra weight there.

It is probably a space issue. maybe someone will make a steel one.

I spoke with Kody and it doesn't fit the stand up gearbox. I received my kits yesterday and have the 12g brass c. Will be testing outdoors this weekend.

I ordered kashima shock bodies for my b6d. Don't have either yet, but just discovered that the rears are supposed to be 27.5 mm (same as truck fronts) instead of the 31mm that fit the b5m. Bummer, because I ordered what fit the b5m. Had no idea they changed the shock body length and I feel like I've read plenty on this car already. At least they both take the same shafts from what I can tell in the manuals. Just a little warning for those that are looking to get the kashima shock bodies. You will have to run the optional 91666 rear shock tower with the 31mm shock bodies.
