Thanks so much Mellow. Raced for about ~8 years and sold everything to pickup camera gear...but hearing chassis' slap and tires screeching has got me hooked again. Good to hear you got back into things too!

Just out of curiosity how long did it take each of you to fully assembly the couple kit including motor, esc, servo, receiver, etc. Also for reference was this your first time putting a kit together or did you have experience from in the past builds. Just trying to get an idea as a newbie how long it takes to assembly the entire buggy?
Im not new to RC cars just new to Buggy's. I have a couple of Traxxas Slash and have taken one completely apart to put a LCG chassis on and rebuild the transmission. thanks for all your help!

You do know the mod in question and socket are real life friends and have known each other since they were 14 years old? But it goes like this. Let us say I have a friend working for me. I like him most of the time, but he is causing unrest with the other employees. So I let him go, for the good of the group. Not much of a difference here. Also, those 2 chat all the time on FB. Just because you are friends with someone does not mean everyone should have to listen to your "troubled" friend. My understanding is this "mod" stood up for Socket as long as he could. But eventually, defending him became harder and harder.

You all are incredibly wrong about the situation that led him to no longer be here. Stop spreading the rumors like you have first hand knowledge....because I guarantee you don't.

Loving my B6D in stock class on dirt. It was so cool, we had so many different buggies racing, five RB6's, three B5's, one 22 3.0 (mid), one 22 2.0. one Durango, one B5M and my B6D.
The top 5 of us all had different buggies. Although on target to take the TQ, I screwed up twice and ended up qualifying 3rd.
The previous race I had a turn-in push issue. It was mostly fixed with moving the front shock to the inside hole on the top and dropping front spring from White to Green. I was going to try Black next but somehow I only had one of them. I may go to brown or up one spring rate in the rear.
My motor (Fantom Apex V2) is also 3 seasons old so may be time to update. I won't ask for a motor recommendation, since I know the answer is a no real answer. Honestly I barely have run buggy and only when I had no option to run my Truck, really more of a truck guy but dang it this buggy is converting me.
