That comes out to $699.57 in US dollars.

(But we all KNEW it was going to be pricey...right? )

That can't be the street price, must be the retail price. They have the BD at 349.99 so it looks to be a bit more expensive than the BD.

I assumed that that was the suggested retail price or something like that. I didn't think yokomo would actually try and sell these things at $700 a pop. I doubt that at that price even I would get one.

EDIT:
A quote from another forum:

yokomo has officially released the 4BX now on their japan site
http://www.teamyokomo.com/japan/newp...s2006_2_en.htm
with a price in yen, straight conversions of this price show it as $573 or £328, obviously prices may differ

well the conversion rate right now for the USD is pretty bad... so expect the price to be pretty high if you're converting foreign prices...

Ahhh, the weak dollar, I can think of so many reasons for that.

Just twiddling my thumbs at work today and what happened to be delivered from japan..... none other than Massami's own MR4-BX on loan to us for an upcoming trade fair in Sydney. VERY NICE!

wow. That's a shame. No matter how good the buggy is, very few people are going to buy it at that price and it is not helping out the 4WD class at all. I can only assume the price will come down considerably since the buggy hasn't been released yet here in the states.
