Reedy vs Orion 2S Lipos recommendation
Running a t5m in mod stadium truck.
8.5 reedy motor, and can't decide on batteries.. Looking at the team Orion 4500 100c, or the reedy 5300 70c.. Both shorties.. Can you really see a difference with the 70 vs 100? How much more time will I get with the 5300? Haven't raced since the 90s so the Lipos are new to me.
Thanks for the help!

C ratings for the most part are useless as most if all are overrated. The best way to tell a lipos performance is with its IR. Those packs you mention imo are overpriced for what you get. With that said, Smc/RCking ,turnigy nanotechs, are good packs for the price. Even the LND lipos from barn floor are good as well. For a t5m most guys i know run 4200-4600 mah lipos
LND:

SMC:http://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?...product_id=121
Turnigy:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=59141
RCkings are only sold in lhs and are the same as smc as they are the same company.

I recently purchased the exact Orion packs you asked about. I had a 70c 4100 Protek pack before that. I also had a 65c 4200 Turnegy pack. All were okay, but the Turnegy pack only lasted about 1 season. The Protek is still going strong after about 2 years. In my honest opinion, the Orion packs blow them both away. For $65 a pack, I did not think that was too bad. I do not have any experience with the Reedy packs.
