Default 4WD SCT Battery

Ive been looking to replace or get new batteries for my 4wd sct. I run Nano Tech 7500mAh 90C batteries. Been running them for little over a year. They are swollen, beat, plastic is cracked, I had to glue the halves together twice on both and the plastic around the connections melted a little. (they still work fine tho) I have been looking around for a high capacity battery and other than the known usual recommendations, (SMC, Trackpower, etc...) I found the Trinity White Carbon Extra performance packs. Looking at the 7700mAh 100C battery. Have anybody use or used this batteries before? Are they worth the $140ea? Just trying to get some input on this batteries since I couldn't find anything.

+1 and add another 1000. Vant Batteries are incredible! I have been using them for 2 plus years with no issues. Tons of punch. they don't puff, their mah listings are correct. Usually the hold a tad more than listed.

I got my vants here, work great:

https://atomicmods.com/vant-battery-...ns-connectors/

you may be able to show that to some other places that sell them and see what they can do for you to

I'm going to try either the 7600 or 8000 Vants, or the 8000 Promatchracing. Used SMC 7200 last time I raced 4wd corr. Performed fine, swelled quite a bit. Was told it was normal. Didn't sit well with me. I'll pass on them this time around.

Damn. I just looked at Vant batteries. Promising reviews and 8000mAh 100C 2S.... No need to look around any further. Thanks for the suggestions!

You won't be disappointed with VANT lipos. Excellent. Also CRP plus has VANT some of the VANT line up at great prices. Plus CRP has a 15 percent off coupon good through the end of this month.

You'll be hard pressed to find a battery better than that Nano Ultimate. They are very good. A year out of a 4wd sct battery is really good.

VANT also has 6 month full replacement warantee. Reason for the low pricing is Dirt Cheap RC and others purchase directly from VANT. Thus no middleman, no expensive marketing, etc etc, thus saves the consumer big money while providing a top tier lipo.

Example of VANT'S commitment to producing excellent lipos. They released an 8200mah 3.7 (1s) pack. The found that these were not holding a full 8200mah thus more like 8100mah so they stopped selling them. They will only re release these when they are consistently holding more than 8200mah. Wow! Most manufactures or brands would not address that issue as they would not deem a 8200mah 1s packs that consistently held and provided 8100 mah an issue. VANT lipos listed MAH per their lipos are genuine, thus their packs consistently hold 100 to 200mah more than what's listed on their lipo's.

Still have a couple of SMC packs from 2013.

Although lately I have been really liking my Pro-Match batteries. Have a stick pack and a shorty (for 2wd SCT), and both are my top performers, usually save them for the ?-main.

I would like to see VANT offer a 5mm bullet option. Is there a place to drop them a message about this?

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with the nano tech ultimate (7500mAh 90C) But the plastic casing feels weak. I split both of my cases and had to put them on a table vise and re-glue them. No more splitting issues but the batteries puffed a little, nothing to be really concerned tho. Also the plastic around the 5mm terminals seems that started to melt. I think that if turnigy improve the quality of the cases ill be down for 2 more nano techs. Ans I was looking around for more choices. Vant battery 8000mAh at 100C for the price seems to be really tough to beat.
