Save your money. Very unimpressive motor.

DO they show they are coming off back order from Great Planes. I work at a hobbyshop and while I did put on on Backorder it didn't show they where coming anytime soon. Its says on order which its been like that for months. Honestly I have no idea with the hold up is from GP as they own Team Durango so reason for a back order for that long.

what your thoughts Wyd on motors from Express Motorsports? I figure if buying new, they do some of the tuning already to motors that are already known to be good for like $5 more dollars.

Maybe yours will run better. I work at a shop and decided to try one to be different. Geared it at 33/69 with 40 degree of timing and it was not very fast. Only ran it 3 minutes and temp was only about 115. Took it off to change gearing and when back out and the motor quit working. I have yet to pack it up and send it back. I'm sure that isn't every motor from them but that was what happened to me and the only 17.5 motor we ever sold at are shop from them.

You might have better luck. I know hobbywing stuff is pretty good overall so mine going bad in 3 minutes I'm sure is a fluke.

I raced for Express Motorsports when John first formed their team. Great guy and my stuff was always fast. For a few dollars more I would say its a good deal. Raced for them for many years. I just didn't run touring cars anymore and quit racing for about a year is the only real reason when I didn't have more motors from John.

bodies look to be out of stock at a variety of places. I do see that someone in UK has a custom body for these that they are selling. With shipping to the usa its not a bad price.

Since the carpet track is close until november i am planning on doing the first drive on a high bite dirt track... have any of you tried to run the shocks in front of the rear a-arms? If any of you ran this car in mod class on dirt and wanna share any set up tips, it will be appreciated.

hmm, I wish I had when I still had it.

In general sounds like that is the way to go when on high traction.

Hello everybody,

i have been reading lot`s of valuable infos on here (thanks to all who share their knowledge!) and having one NIB DEX210F arriving tomorrow.

I`d like to ask if maybe somebody is running the car with saddle pack setup.

Since i do have some very nice saddles for my DEX410, i would be happy to use them on this car as well...

The car will be run on high grip carpet only!
Is that a good idea or better buy some shortys?

(Motor 10.5T / ESC Fleta PRO / given Tire types: Schumacher Cut Stagger Low Profile yellow in front and Mini Pin yellow at the back)

Would be very nice to hear some inputs on this.
Thanks in advance,
Marcelino

Here in Portugal, on the track (carpet) that I go to (Indoor RC Oeste, Torres Vedras) we have more than 10 TD DEX210F running and they are all using shorty.
I think that it is the best configuration for this car.
I had a DEX210V1 for 4 years, when I changed to the F, my lap times went down almost 1 second per lap.
