Cain,
What did you find out about those parts? Are they similar? I like how the Intech buggy is laid out. Kind of like Plan B. Like how front servo is laid down.

I got them on order. my initial impressions seeing pics of the actual parts is they look very close. Enough so I'll see what comes in.

Durango really needs to get away from this whole parts tree business and package some parts together that logically make sense, especially for the new vehicles. For the DEX410V5 I have, I ordered spare front hubs but they come packaged with what appears to be the previous V4 and lower rear hubs, hence basically a waste for parts I won't use.

I imagine that the 210F can use the Exotek Rear 12mm hubs and in the front I can use the Exotek titanium front hex like I do on my DEX210 V3? I will be getting one in the late fall but I will slowly gather some of smaller things so I have them for as soon as the car comes in.

Thanks Cain. I knew you would know. I just ordered a new DEX8. Never raced an 1/8th before so should be entertaining.

1/8 is fun for sure. If you got a track that has it as an option, its very very fun

Did I say fun? lol

The other class at that kind of scale that is fun, 1/8 E-truggy. its nutz.

Totally agree about the parts tree crap. Loys of wasted parts we will never use for one part we need. Raises the cost of it all too!!

Let us know when you get the parts.

I noticed they had inline front hubs that can be used with 12mm hexes.

Are there ant other cars out that have a similar drive train layout? I know there have been some "home built" cars like the B52 and the Kyosho conversions, but I am talking about mass produced stuff.

hey sorry I got caught up with some family stuff here. If I have time I'll run home after work and quick throw it up on my four scales.

At a minimum, I'll be back in town saturday so could do it then.

I couldn't resist the temptation any longer and bit on one from the classifieds. I can't wait to test it on the turf, carpet and high grip clay!

Just picked one up, my fiancÚ got it for me for my birthday. Not 100% positive yet but likely will race mod. In the process of the build now with 12mm since I have a ton of rims and tires from my b5m. Any recommendations or just stick with the box settings? I'll be racing mostly carpet.
