As I will be using this car for Stock 17.5 class, I will more than likely not use the center diff. Team durango site mentions
"With the option to also run a standard slipper assembly in the same position, you can master this area of traction tuning easily".
But doesn't state if its included in the box or if its a option part purchased Separately. Or maybe its the same as the 2 way slipper from the V4?.. that would be fine as I already have the V4!

On average lap times are 2-5 sec slower than Mod, smaller the track the difference gets closer.
Your worst enemy is Motor temps in 4wd Stock 40mm Fan pointed at the motor is the best way.
When I ran my v3 in Stock, i had a 8 racing carbon chassis and a shorty battery that got me down into the 1650g range and I also had a 25mm fan wedged in but it was always a temperature battle, especially in Australia where we can get ambient temps of 30+deg C.

This is the shell off photo. It's the prototype and it's rough around the edges as the design has changed a bit.
The chassis is 112mm wide (at its widest point) and a weight of 1684g.

Ekt, thats a pritty nice track too!
The track i was running in the past, was like simular, but they put concrete all over the track (for less maintaince), exapt on some jumps, so when you crash hard, something brake for sure...
I have to find a new track, as my driving is not that good, so it get to expansive for me on this track!

I really like my v4 I just got it not long ago. It was a pain to setup at first ended up scraping the mounting pad for ESC/receiver. I have only ran it on carpet but with the slipper pretty tight it has handled it well. It didn't take much to crack the front shock tower I'd like too see aluminum towers. Does the v5 come with the aluminum servo saver in the box?
