Sweet looking rigs John.

Also you guys can try the black diamond titanium shock shafts. They are smooth as a baby's bottom, don't wear, and don't break. I've used these since they have come out. I also have them retrofitted to my current non TD rides. People always ask how are my shocks so smooth. Special thanks to VRP pistons, and TD shafts...

Thanks Raul, how's things? I agree on the black shafts as well. Ran them on both scale cars.

I got in the intech parts for the shocks and on face value they look like they are the same dimensions as needed. I am going to get them put on and see what is what.

I've been reading lots of wording, too many pages with anything useful. I am looking for less wording and more useful information.

Get the buggy.

Use the stock set up and whatever tires of choice are being used at your local track.

Go race and expect to be on the top of the podium.

Hope this is more useful.

those black diamond shock shafts, you mean these?

http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD330257

if so, may have some of those sitting in the pit box, as well as the various gold ones.

Cool review but is it just me, or is he 100% lost with the 410 altogether?

I will say that plastic lower caps on the shocks is pretty crappy. Not the end of the world but considering so many generation 410's included them, you'd expect the latest and greatest to include them as well. The one part I wonder if TD (or anyone else) will ever produce in aluminum is the front bulkhead. The plastic one is extremely durable, but I've broken 2 in almost 3 years. LOL

Totally agree on a alloy bulk head and I wish someone (exotek) brought out a Alloy rear bulk head for the 410v4 and older. Jorn Neuman used to run a custom machined one when he ran for TD.

I have broken front and rear over time

If I had to guess, the gold shafts are your standard TiNi coating. The blacks are DLC [diamond-like-coating]. I'm not sure who else besides Durango offers DLC shafts. DLC is typically seen in nitro engines.
