Default I've been out for 3ish years and I have questions.

Like the title says...Looking to knock the dust off my stuff. I have been out of it since my local off road carpet track shut down..I'm guessing my batteries are probably all clapped out from sitting. But it seem like the new ones are even better! I used to buy from "promatch" I was very happy with their performance, and service..My question is, are there any better batterys for the prices these days?? Sorry in advance if I'm posting this question in the wrong section. But I'll be getting 2 cell packs for my scte 2.0, 8ight-t 2.0 tekno v4, d8 v4, and b4.2...I used to do fairly well kicking butt; so I'm gonna keep running this old junk for now. Lol!

Yeah, I can second on SMC batteries. Plus they're near Harrisonburg, VA, so shipping should be pretty quick to you!

I'll third the SMC batteries. 4400 2s pack for $35. From what I've heard their electronics and motors are quality!

SMC gets my vote. Have been using them for the past few years and they have been great!

I've had plenty of the gens ace packs..But they weren't anywhere as good as my last set of 2 cell promatch packs that were 7200mah, and 80c continuous discharge.

Just a word of advice on SMC'c. Make sure you get the new style the has the power leads and balance leads separated coming out of the case. The old style where they were both run through the same outlet location on the case had issues.

Try to charge your old packs, you might be surprised.

Pro-match and SMC. All I use these days. Both have been great for me, both comparably priced. Not sure if it is the batteries I use, but Pro-match has them in stock more often. SMCs are on pre-order many times - no big deal if you're not in hurry.

I will. I did a "storage" discharge on them. Maybe I'll get lucky..Anytime I would let the gens ace sit for 1 season they were all beat!

SMC, great packs at a great price! Great customer service as well!
Same packs others are selling for 2-4 times the price!
