newbie needs tips
basicly im about to get a condor pro, is it a good starting buggy? also are there any 'must not do or ull blow ure freaking engin tips' ive don alot of reserch about lots of things 'wot to do and wot not to do' like the fuel that f u put it far to lean or rich ull need a new engin lol.
plz help.

I've never heard of a Condor Pro before, but I'm guessing it's a 1/8 scale buggy? Anyways, one thing to help you from blowing up your motor is to get a temperature 'gun'. You should never allow a glow plug engine to run past 250-260 degrees farenheit.

well the condor pro is a 10th scale and i no bout the glow plugs n dat, thanks 4 the temp gun advise also ill be a bit dumb at the moment firstly coz that was my first post ive only jus regesterd. lol

also from jus bout all the places(websites) that sell condor pro's say they go bout 60mph+ but obveously not quite that fast in reality

If your in america I would advise against getting a condor pro as I doubt any hobby shop has parts for it. get a buggy buy associated, losi, kyosho, mugen,ofna It may cost a little more up front but in the long run it will be worth it.
as for tips
a starter box is a good thing to have.
always have 2 glow ignighters charged.
keep a extra glow plug on hand.
do not be afraid to make adjustments but make them one at a time and only after the motor is warmed up.

im in england and ive seen parts on web sties for condor pros and my m8 is getting a condor pro too so we can help each other out a little, also one reson for me getting a condor pro is that on a good web site that sells parts for it has a good deal for one, £160 when the normal price is £200= jus over $300

cmain... i checked the site, its very useful but im not sure what breaking the engin in is, do you hav to do that befor actully running/playing with the car?

Hi RcMadMan I just got into Nitro from Electric, and yes you will have to break in the motor prior to playing with your new toy. Breaking in the motor seats the piston to the cylinder by idling the motor through a min of 3 tanks of gas. Run your motor as rich as possible to allow plenty of lubrication, but make sure you keep it at idle (this is important). Running rich your motor temp should stay under 200 degrees, but it might vary slightly over as it breaks in; but keep it under 230 while you go through the process. Allow the motor to completely cool between each tank, and use "after run" after each tank. Put "after run" down the carb, and the cylinder by removing the glow plug and rotate the flywheel to make sure your coating the engine.

ty so much, also would like 5 tanks be best, ive red bout breaking engin in but not known wot it woz, ty for dat otherwise i might have caked it up a little! lol coz im getting 1 soon and ive been doing lots of reserch but ive never found a site dat tels u wot things like hop-ups (now known as upgrades) and breaking the engin in actully is,

There are many publications ( at least within the usa) about how to properly maintain and break-in your nitro vehicle. Go to rccaraction.com they publish many helpful guides for people just getting into the sport. Hope this helps.
