The weight balance is pretty impressive; cant see why this wouldnt work well on most tracks. Be interesting to see how it stacks up to the rest of the contenders out there.

I honestly feel like it is the best two wheel car made. The car is awesome out of the box just imagine how good it will be after a few months of everyone working with it bouncing ideas back and forth.

Will the aluminum servo mounts work from the 2.0 buggy? Or is that area different as well?

But the 70 spur will still fit.

Good now I know that I need to pick up a new gear. I don't want to use my used one out of my 2.0 for a new car :)

In the video Frank said it had new servo mounts.

I was impressed with how Dustin's car looked in the final A this past weekend. I can't wait to get my hands on one to do a build and review of it for RC Tech readers.

If I missed it, sorry, but I haven't seen anything about availability of new spare parts for the 3.0 kit... Since so much of the buggy is "all new", parts will be absolutely vital for those not "connected" to TLR...?

Kits and parts usually arrive at the same time so shops should be getting parts with the kits so parts should not be too big an issue.

With TLR, yeah parts will be MORE than readily available! ^

Frank
What length of sensor wire did you use on your 3.0?

Yep I have some parts already on the way.
Its my first TLR in a few years and even the 1.0 I had no issues with parts or any other new released TLR I had.

Start the build on mine tonight and I had forgotten how TLR plastic was to Kyosho.
Enjoying the build though

The servo mounts are new and different, the 1.0/2.0 mounts will not work, and we will be making aluminum versions soon.

We will not ship a car without parts available. They will ship within 1-2 days of the kits themselves (since the kits get checking in first).

200mm, but I think that you might be able to get away with 175mm depending on how you mount the ESC.

Due to logistical challenges, the cars have shipping in Australia already.

Damn, talk about a punt to the USA.

How's that aussie $$ conversion to USD?

Edit: Not bad, $350 shipped from down under.

I checked and it came out to about $375 shipped, but I couldn't figure out how long it would actually take to reach the states...that and I'm not able to race anytime soon so....I can wait.
