Default HOBBY PRO PRS1 V3

Neobuggy, "PR Racing America has officially released the new Hobby Pro PRS1 V3 2wd buggy (seen in action at the IFMAR World Championships). The new platform design is based off of the popular V2 design, however, allows for more adaptability and tuning options for various racing conditions. The new buggy features a 3-gear mid-motor transmission, lay-down transmission case, adjustable motor, various battery placement options, and more."

I've already built most of it except for the shocks, I'll post some detailed pics in the morning. I had to go to work.

I built mine last night. Bang for the buck I'd say initial value is better with the V3. You get quite a few hop ups in the kit.

Carbon fiber towers
Carbon fiber battery brace
Pro steering blocks
Alum -2mm rear hubs
Alum top shaft
Alum dowel pin
Heavy duty rear drive axles

Missing from the v3 that you got with the v2 are alum shock caps (the new plastic are way easier to build) the "world's" 2x1.6 pistons are replaced by moulded positions. Rear hinge pin pivot bushings are now moulded but have an excellent fit.

There is absolutely zero play in anything. PR Racing came through with yet another great build. I can't wait to get it onto the track.

Sorry can't post any photos. Lol

does anyone know the front kick degree for the v3?

when I use the closest hole to the shocks on the steering knuckle, full steering is limited because the steering link hits the spring cup, anyone notice that?

The V3 has the same 25 degree kickup as the 2014 edition.

I can't help much with the links. Do you have the bent ballcup on the outside? That maybe a common thing with the pro steering blocks. I don't have experience with them until this build.
