Wow apparently their online inventory system doesn't work then because both say in stock.
I stand corrected.

Seriously though, these MM cars… they need better planing in terms of where and how you can run the wires. I ordered 2 of these to keep my wires nice and neat and it adds a touch of bling.

Where can buy this wire clamp?

I have an Ace 1015 in mine, losi servo horn with 1.5mm spacers. I agree perfect fit. The only weak point in the kit is the plastic servo horn and no aluminum option from PR... a veeerrrrry tiny piece. I'm loving my kit, I ran my fastest ever laptime in practice last night! The V3 is extremely stable and consistent.

I have a V3 buggy and my first impressions are not great. No O-rings for the shock collars and one of the slipper pads had substantial amounts cut off for some reason. Manual shows gear diff but I have a ball diff. Emailed Hobby Pro three times now and not a peep from anyone.

I've since replaced the spur gear and slipper pads with Associated parts and have O-rings on order from A-Main. The ball diff feels smooth but I would prefer the gear diff.

Email Andrew Smolnik at HobbyPro he'll get you fixed up. [email protected]
Don't forget yesterday was a holiday here in the states, which might delay any response from them.
I think the HobbyPro kits come with the ball diff because most tracks in the US are dirt, and most prefer ball diffs to gear diffs on dirt. If we had more carpet/turf tracks HobbyPro would import the V3 with a gear diff. That isn't a big enough change to reprint PR's manuals to note that change. As for the missing parts don't know what to say, it happens sometimes even for the big companies like Losi and Associated.

Thanks RCGerber. Email sent and hope Andrew can point me in the right direction. I plan to run indoors on turf or carpet and bought the V3 as it was supposed to come stock with the gear diff.

That is going to suck if mine comes with a ball diff. It is designed as an astro/carpet car (the V3 FM) and everything I have read said gear diff. What o-rings did you order?

That's exactly how I feel. I bought the V3 as it was designed as an astro / turf buggy and I expected the gear diff. Very disappointed it has a ball diff.

I've since heard from Andrew, but I no longer have the shipping box or any kind of receipt. He advised that all V3 kits sold in the US came with a ball diff, so I guess my kit is in fact complete and correct. The missing shock collar O-rings and bad slipper pad are another issue though. Fixed the slipper issue with Associated parts and ordered O-rings from A-Main.

Hobby Pro emailed me today to advise that they will provide me with the missing shock collar O-rings and replace the defective slipper pads. These items were either missing completely or defective right out of the box. Lousy quality control in a high-end kit.

As far as the diff goes, they will not do anything for me as I have already assembled the ball diff in my kit and as such they will not take it back or exchange it for a proper gear diff. I am SOL on the diff issue.

In the end they basically flipped me the finger, so I told them not to bother sending me anything. Lesson learned is to stay away from obscure brands and small companies like this. The bait and switch diff issue leaves a bitter taste and if you've bought one of these kits, I recommend returning it ASAP.

My PRS1 V3 buggy is for sale. Please check the for sale section for pictures.
