Mark are you going to come to the Georgia Indoor Championship in Marietta, GA (11/14-11/55)? I think they have 150 entries right now. Check it out on rcsignup if your interested.

I was planning on making that one, but I can't get out of work on that Sunday.

Just finished wiring up both my YZ-2's so I'll post pics for you to follow.

Lord knows your soldering… Oye vey! LOL

I keed, I keed!

Seriously though, these MM cars… they need better planing in terms of where and how you can run the wires. I ordered 2 of these to keep my wires nice and neat and it adds a touch of bling.

Nice. That paint job camouflages some of the things I dislike about the lid.

Let's see it without the lid!

Nice!

I went down the right side on my YZ-2 because that way it's less wires to deal with when installing batteries. Only the battery leads cross the battery brace.

I'll take a pic when I get home and post it.Might prove helpful for some who are undecided about wiring. I warn some of you, jealousy might ensue! LOL

Yeah, I actually just loosen the brace a little and slide the battery out the side.
The v3 is soo much smother feeling than the v2.

In what sense?

I have two of them, one with the gear diff, The other with ball diff and both feel really smooth to me, and the shocks in particular are Easier to set up and Adjust than the bladder shocks, although I am aware of the B3 comes with the bleeder carro although I am aware of the v3 comes with the bleeder caps. Just wish they were aluminum.

The main reason I moved away from Hobby pro is the way they dropped the ball on the SB 401, in particular the slipper. Will probably snatch up the K2 and if I like it better the SP is going up for sale.

The PRS1 is a fantastic buggy but the inner tie rod mounts on the transmission case needs to be done away with because that is the car's only true weak point.

Mine isn't going anywhere anytime soon, unless my YZ's prove considerably better.

It just feels like it transitions smother to me. whether accelerating, braking or turning it just seems to transition better. I've only got one race on it and I'm already more consistent with it

Thanks to the 3 gear trans the car corners flat, it doesn't transfer weight back and forth like a 4 gear, so it tracks straight under braking. the V3 has more on power steering. The V2 had a ton of forward drive, but would get twitchy if you weren't smooth on the throttle input. I could never get enough steering out of my V2, the V3 has lots of turn in, but is still stable with plenty of forward bite.

Simply stated, the V3 does everything better than the V2. The camber link ears on the trans are twice as thick as the V2, so I don't see that piece being a problem. I've crashed the V3 HARD plenty of times and haven't broken anything but a stripped stock servo horn. (knock on wood)
