3 or 4 gear transmission?
#49
I am curious if there's any aftermarket bodies, like maybe the new Pro-Line Predator, that will fit the new car. It's tough to get a new buggy then wait a looooong time for the painter to get the body painted. I did see a PL body on a prototype so hoping that something for the B5M will fit.

Some of the newer bodies for the B5M might be a better fit but we haven't tried any of them since we now run Xray bodies

I'm guessing it will have both. Bayer mentioned being able to change motor placement. What better way to do that then to have two casing options. One will have a lay down lcg setup and the other will be with the motor farther back for low traction. Combine that with chassis flex options, this car could very well be the best mm car out for a low bite surface. Look at this picture, clearly shows two transmission options.

Part 2 of the Story is up on NeoBuggy http://www.neobuggy.net/2015/11/13/m...ay-xb2-part-2/
Looks like there is a lay down transmission along with a more tradition 3-gear (or 4, I can't tell) for mid or rear motor configurations. Very interesting that they're still giving the rear motor option.
Also, I'd assume that once they have the official release on the website that the car will be immediately available. That's generally how they go, full release and announcement on the same day.

Wow are you serious!? Three motor positions! Absolutely brilliant and a major game changer. This is going to make all other companies look pathetic! So excited to see this car and I can't wait to get my kit in my hands! Now I can sell my yz-2 and b5m because I will have only 1 car capable of all three cars.
