Is there an actual date of when the dirt edition is going to be available? Never preordered a buggy before. Do you think I need to preorder to get one? I was going to have my wife order one day after Xmas for my present. Will they still be taking preorders end of this coming week? I don't want to miss out and have them sell out before I get an order in.

are you mounting the front tires all the way across the rim or mounting to a inner rib? been staring at the pics for an hour and can figure out how they are mounted on the box. just looking for the best option. i am using proline wedge squared 2.2 wheels. and just trying to find out before i mount to my only set of rims.

This leaves the wheel at a perfect width for Stagger type front tires.
If you want to stiffen the wheel just glue back the portion you removed to the inside of the wheel (see middle picture).

Good idea to stiffen up the wheel Bent.
Here's what I use to trim mine :
The step below is only to make the sanding faster as I'm only removing less than 0.5mm, you can skip it if you like:
When I use foam for some front tires like the cut stoggers (not low profile) or mini pins/spikes I remove the center rib to avoid a deformed tire due to the pressure of the foam inside :

We never run foams in Stagger type tires since they perform way better with no foams both on carpet and astro.
For other normal 2WD front tires we never remove the center rib as this stabilizes the tire and keep the foam in place and keep the tire more consistent.
On high grip surfaces we even glue the foam to the wheel for even better support and response

Brass Parts
What brass parts are compatible or available for the xb2? Anything about to be released? Especially for the rear suspension
