If you want send me your setup with a detailed description of what it's doing and I'll try and help.
Are you having a nose up problem?
I have quite a bit of weight in In the rear and a huge triple biggest jump I've ever hit on a track and I don't have a problem. Sometimes if I really gun it off the face I would fly a tad nose high but Tap the brake directly off the face don't wait and you can control the buggy wing high. Also other buggies would have this same thing happen.
You could mess with the wheel base settings and set the wheels back and chassis forward that might help Just be sure to watch your traction and make changes to add traction if need be.
I will post my setup tomorrow I'm getting ready for s big race

My buggy tends to fly nose high.still real fast with it but it's an it annoying. About twice as hard to whip the buggy. Have to stab the brake fully in the air to move the nose back down and into the corner about twice as hard as my other buggies. I noticed when I had the longer tears rod ends in for lower bite surfaces that inadvertently helped, but I don't like running it this way for high bite as it pushes a bit... Any suggestions?

I haven't been back there since I got the 17 I've been racing at RCE a lot been having fun on clay. I'll be back to RCM tho.

Phil I can't say for sure if that would be the case. It could even do the opposite allowing the front suspension to spring up more on the take off. Then I know the wheels wouldn't hang down as far as without limiting but just because the wheels hang down further in the air I'm not sure if that would change the trajectory. This is def a good question. Wish I could be of more help.

Angle seems slightly extreme following the manual on the steering arm. I'm thinking a 2 or 3mm spacer on the steering rack vs 1mm factory recommend washer.
Anyone else shim up?

Raced my 17 XB2 for the first time last night. Overall pretty happy for the first time (coming from B5M). However, is this model know to have a loud gear train? It was louder than my XB4.

Thx - that's how it's set now...for others wondering the front wing helps quite a bit, but mostly on larger jumps. Only real impact I have is jumping a single coming into a sharp turn it reacts too slowly to whip into a corner without a lot of hang time

The xray wheels have 2 holes in them. Are you guys finding them sufficient or are holes still recommended in the tires? I really don't like the idea of holes in the tires.

I guess I'll consider doing them later and/or if more evacuation area is needed, I'll drill the rim out more.

For the drive train. Make sure your gear mesh is on and the body isn't rubbing on the slipper top shaft. My buggy is quiet but I remember when I first got it it was super loud but I played around with some things and I remember checking gear mesh and the body was rubbing so I fixed that and since then it was good
