I'm not.
I'm taking time out of my personal time to answer questions on here.
I'm not paid to do so or encouraged to do so by anyone…..other than by users that want help and support.
I basically don't have the time to argue with every other poster on here.
I give my feedback, short and to the point and then move on.
Case closed.
If you don't like my feedback, me or my posts feel free to ignore my posts.
Posting on this forum trying to help the people on here is the least rewarding I could ever spend my time on to be honest……..sad but true.
PS! And I don't start by posting to cause a reaction and then go back and edit my posts to make me look better afterwards

I appreciate all the help/info you provide. It's to the point and brief. Thanks!

Come on guys, we know the internet is no place for feelings. Let's get back to car talk. I was all excited about new info on the car. I will say you may not want to invest in such a fine machine if you're going to get hung up on RX antenna.

Why are you still editing your posts ?
First they can be misinterpreted and then you add text later on to make them look better…….
And for the original post……editing the post to: "I'll take the highroad" after first calling my post silly and coming down on "you and one other guy" (my daughter) in your original post wasn't to make you look better
The original poster questioning the lack of an antenna mount seemed okay with the answer I gave about what solution we have chosen for Malin's XB2 and my suggested solution to him having a receiver with an external antenna (which you left out in your reply).
Giving ME grief for Xray not manufacturing an antenna mount seams way off base to me

Ok, I think I see what happened here.... there was a misunderstanding. I thought that you were part of the team that developed and engineered the car. Then when you were asked about the missing antenna mount, it read to me like you decided to not engineer the car with a way to mount one, because you personally don't run a receiver with an antenna... But this isn't the case, you're just a driver? My misunderstanding!

And yes we test parts and vehicles for Xray, Hudy, FX engines, ORCA, JConcepts, G-Force ++++
We've been running prototypes of the XB2 for close to 2 years now and we give feedback to the designer, Martin Bayer, as well as to co-designer Juraj Hudy (owner of Xray).
I'm on here to try and answer peoples questions and offer support in my own free time…….time I would rather spend with family and friends to be honest.
If I where to argue with every single poster here having a different opinion than mine I would need a lot more hours in my day.
That's why I'm short and to the point when answering.
The reason for not having an antenna mount on the XB2 is that this is a racer's car.
Xray design, develop and manufacture race vehicles and 99% of the racers doesn't use an antenna anymore.
To spend tens of thousands of $ to design, test, manufacture moulds and produce parts that 99% of the buyers won't use is just not very good business sense.
Xray strive to be at the forefront of development and all of the major manufacturers of radio systems now have receivers without external antenna for use with electric vehicles.
That's the current trend
That's the long answer
Does that make you more happy

As for right now we have a couple of parts mounted that's not released yet, but we are very close to running an out of the box car

Not to extend the antenna thing, but I believe that you are required to run an antenna at ROAR sanctioned national events. At least that was the explanation given to me as to why the pros run them at some races.

Might be a requirement in the US though ?
Anybody know for sure ?
