Default Rx8 gen2 case swap?

I asked in the official Tekin rx8 esc thread but have had no reply in over a week. I'm just about to put an order in for a rx8 gen 2 buggy combo and I want to swap the white case out for a black one and I'd like to order the case at the same time I'm wanting to know if anyone can tell me if this is a straight forward swap or if it's more involved than a simple few screws and swapping them out such as de-soldering and so on
Tia

Easy as. 4 screws and unclip the circuit board and put it into the new case. It's easier if your wires are not soldered so the slide through the holes.

It's a piece of piss really 😆

Its a easy straight swap especially when the esc is new. Just make sure you have a good tiny phillips head driver and take your time as the case screws are tiny and kind off soft.

I've also found that enlarging the screw holes in the new case slightly makes it a far easier job. I used a pin vise with a bit for drilling pistons- I think it was a 1.15mm bit but its been a few months since I did the case swap.

It's simple enough. The key is using a good quality #0 phillips screwdriver and not rush taking the screws in and out.
