I'm on med grip clay and a large track with a 17.5. I'm running a 31 pinion and I think the spur is a 70.

So ive got rid of all my HB cars last year (no one else runs hb here) and went over to mugen and xray. Got the xb2 and love it but i cant seem to forget the d216(especially since exotek last options) so im wondering how your doing with the xb2 on carpet? Thinking about changing car or get a d216 in addition to the Xb2...

I just sold my xb2 to concentrate on my d216. I know for carpet, droop settings need big changes as well as shock pistons and roll centers moved.

Was always curious about this buggy as it looked similar in approach to a prototype Team C car that I still run.

Can anyone summarize the status of this car? Are parts back online? Is there an updated version coming out soon? How does it handle versus the AE/TLR/Yokes?

Parts are available at amain and tower. Amain will continue and tower is done with hb. Hb will also sell parts direct now.

What is going on with Idler gears. The Exotek is discontinued and the HB aluminum is hard to find. Did HB work the kinks out on the material for the nylon one, or should I find the aluminum one. Thanks

Oh ya I just got mine used and it has the B5 idler gear in it running this weekend. Excited to run this beauty.

First club race last weekend and 5th in the Amain. My diff starts to strip and I end up having to pull off. Have a new one coming but looking for your thoughts on how to prevent.

I kept my gears greased up with a little black grease to help with the wear or Tamiya Ceramic grease would help with wear. Now I ran mine in stock and got the car used but it had the aluminum idler gear but it still showed some wear. I would run the aluminum one if you can find it or if it has a B5 one in you should be good to go.

have exotek stuff that was carefully installed. It was installed with some hudy graphite grease. Zero issues.
