Thanks a lot for the tips! 12T should certainly be small enough.

So at this point what differences would there be between the dedicated e t3.0 vs a nitro 4.0 converted to e?

I've bought a spektrum s6290 servo and the wire connector doesn't seem to fit easily, tried the losi brushless conversion radio tray and that looks even harder. What is the trick to installing it without dremeling the servo mount?

Hey guys, i just ordered the kit for my bashing project. I need a nice esc-motor combo for it. What would you guys recommend? I was thinking of the hobbywing xr8 plus and the 4274 motor

I'd probably get a SCT-Pro for esc and 4274SD motor. That's what I have in my truggy and I'm very happy with it. Hobbywing does make a 4274, which is sensorless. I'd get a sensored motor, personally, I think they work better (smoother). The XR8 esc would be fine, just cost more than the SCT-Pro.

I have contacted horizon about this and they replied that the truggy can't handle 6s power. Is this true? Has anyone used 6s batteries?

Hi guys, I just tried looking at the fitment of my Tekin 2000kv motor and it appears that I'll need a long shank pinion? Does everyone else need these or am I doing something wrong? The motor shaft just doesn't seem long enough after the thick motor mount is used. Thanks!

Can you turn the diff around? That is fine to do if the pinion works when you do that.

Looks like I'm an idiot and a regular pinion installed at the end of the motor shaft extends enough naturally to align with the spur gear. It works!
