Yeah!!!!!!! But I've already got a converted 3.0 now with this thread there hopefully will be some drivers posting some E setups. I like mine but setup is very different when comparing to Nitro. I know Dakota has one E setup which differs a little from his Nitro setup. I started with the Nitro setup and have been making one change at a time. My biggest issue now is on power push and trying to keep the front end digging instead of lifting. Im not a gut home likes to toss a car around but I almost have to; to make this thing turn real tight.

Will this come with an esc mounting plate? or servo taped directly to the chassis?
Reason I ask is many esc have the bottom wrapped with a sticker, which servo tape has a hard time sticking to and coming from the basher side, it is an extra precaution to be able to zip tie or bolt the esc down, doubled with servo tape.
ESC are expensive.... even on the castle mm they rely on locking tab and their sticker to hold the two halves together, with just servo tape I have had the sticker and tabs release which exposed the cpu board and poof.
The Rc8.2e rtr had a big issue with esc releasing from chassis due to servo tape failure. it just sucks when you do not know your esc is bouncing around inside the chassis and then zzzt

And just to make a correction with the rc8.2e it was not necessarily servo tape fault, but more a case of the sticker on the bottom of the esc was hard for any servo tape to stick to and hold it's bond.

In the past, for stuff that is difficult to keep in position (either because of small footprint or poor quality surface, I have had really good luck with 3M emblem adhesive tape found in auto body shops. However, sometimes it sticks a little too good.

Ryan Maifield and Dakotah Phend running 8IGHT-T E 3.0 for the first time at the ROAR 1/8 electric nationals! Ryan Maifield secures the TQ after 4 hottly contested rounds of qualifying, and wins the National Championship in Main A3 which was arguably the most exciting race of the weekend, just edging out teammate Dakotah Phend by some mere tenths of a second at the finish.
