This....I can't believe no one pointed this out. Did everyone miss this?
That track is begging for an 18t pinion...Running a 1900KV on 15t pinion, I couldn't imagine it. It might also be loose because of all the wheel spin from the pinion being so low. 1900kv should be in the 17t-19t range...I personally bounce between 18-19 depending on track, but mostly 18t.

Shock shafts bending and shock boots tearing!!
My son and I have both been running EB48.3s for about a month (3 races). I am really disappointed in the shocks. The shafts bend way too easily. I had one bend due to a broken control arm and that is understandable. But between us, we have had 5 others bend. Before the EB48.3s, I don't think we had bent that many total shock shafts in all our years of RC racing.
The shock boots are somehow worse than the shafts. I replaced the boots before this last weekends race and one is already torn. Maybe 45 minutes of run time.
Any solutions to either of these issues?

As for the actual bending problem, I would go over your car completely and check for anything binding/bent/broken. If the suspension locks up the shock can no longer absorb the landings and bumps correctly causing something else to bend or break.
As for the boots, one boot tearing after 45 minutes of runtime isn't bad at all. But to increase the life of your boots I suggest running our new, taller spring perches. The extra height helps keep the boot centered around the shaft and not get pinched by the springs, which can often cause tearing. We've noticed an increase in boot life since switching to these.

Ok, I was running about 153* after a 6500pack with the 15t. I haven't really tried my 16t much (only about 10-15minutes) and I have never touched my 17t... always figured I would run too hot with it. My old track was very tiny, so I was used to running a 14t on my SCT 4300kv, this track is bigger tho, so i'll see the temps with 16t on the EB, and maybe the 17t.

Your 4300HD in SCT was also severely under geared...If you were to try that on the track you posted a picture of, I'd suggest a 17t...the 4300HD is such a torque monster, you need a 17t-18t to tame it down for better drive-ability. 16t if on a small indoor track. (I actually ran a 15t on a small indoor track before learning more about the motors.)

I was going through full battery packs (6500 SMC) at my track and my temps were about ~172 consistently. I was even considering getting a 20t pinion but I'd have to monitor the temps a lot closer than with the 19t I have on it now. I originally started with a 18t pinion and was a little slow on the top end for the straightaway. It's probably about 100Ft straight and another 100ft that's a banked left turn. I'd say go with 18 first like everyone mentioned about then bump up to 19 if you want

Here is an older layout of the track I run at now, it is a lot smaller than your track, but it's decent.

Unfortunately no... It's in SB. It's called Channel Island RC. They just finished a new layout last week.

I totally understand you being a little nervous since it's pretty new because I was the same way. But ehh... I got over it after I tomahawked it a handful of times hahaha. I got the feeling that the harder you drive it the easier it is

Thanks everyone for the recommendations about going up in pinion. Ill try my 17t this Sunday if this tropical storm coming somehow skips us.. I don't have a 18t yet, so i'll start with the 17t. So running 170* with the tekin setup is okay? I just built this buggy last week, so I don't want to trash the motor just yet.

Hey guys I need a setup for a large 1/8 outdoor low bite and lose n loamy/ dusty track

That is an unusual number of shock shafts to bend, with or without the delrin guides. I suggest taking part in our 50% warranty http://www.teknorc.com/warranty-repair/ if you still have all the shafts. It's best to send all the parts at once to save on shipping.
