You'll do fine with any of the vehicles you listed at speedrc. It's a smedium (smallish medium) size track that is pretty tight to where you really can't stretch your legs out 100% with ebuggy, so it's more so technical than it is a fast track. The eb48 will do just fine there seeing as how fast it turns.

Each motor/setup is different. Very similar top speed and delivery though.. on 6s you should be around 1350-1400kv max. Anything higher makes gearing impossible or just causes too much amp draw reducing the gains from actually running a 6s setup. Unless you are just doing speed passes that is.

Is that the arm mod in the second picture in the link? Also what does it do to the buggy's performance?

Yes, that is a version of the arm mod. The point is to prevent dirt and such from building up over time inside the arm/hinge pin area, which keeps the suspension more free and consistent over time with less required maintenance to keep it that way. As long as your suspension is free from reaming vs free from the arm mod, your performance will be the same. It is just easier to do with the cut arm mod.

that's what I mean : the kick that actually bothers me a bit about 6s. perfect for pure bashing, but disturbing to put torque on a loose ground. did you change the esc setup ? what about the 20t pinion ?

I'm using Kyosho MP9E battery straps. Never broken one.

Yes, and im guessing chassis flex. I don't have the center brace in and my BIL doesn't either. I don't know if that would help any. We both always snap one of them when we try the 50ft double on my track.. We quit trying that jump and haven't had any issues since.

I went back into my esc and changed the limiter back to 80 and adjusted my throttle curve on my mt4s. Now she accels smooth as butter. I forgot I ha it set up for my eb48sl that was on 3s.
