Ok, I'll start off by saying that I understand this question could mean a TON of things however in my case, the engine I put in my buggy is just too much! lol

The details:
Losi 22-4
Engind: LRP 5.5 brushless

If I'm looking to start racing is there a size class for beginners? I know there is a way to retard or advance it...I've done both just cause.

I think you mean motor and not engine. Motor 99.9% refers to electric powered and engine 99.9% of the time refers to something powered by fossil fuel.
