Default Troy Lee SCTE

Hey everyone. Anyone know the real deal with the Troy Lee version. I have both the 1.0 & 2.0. One for race and one for bash/BMX tracks. I see rollers out ther for $270-300. I only see specs on the truck but hardly any videos. Can't decide if it's worth getting it? All opinions welcome

Its the same truck as the site 2.0 but without the upgrades, parts are all compatible. I've been racing mine for a few weeks. I bought the roller off eBay and threw a hobby wing sct pro in it with a pro 4 4600 motor.

Sweet..my 1.0 drives with a Orion r10 with a 550 vst pro 4000kv..my 2.0 though has a hobbyking track star combo which hauls too..just wondering if you think the handling is better on the Troy Lee chassis

The Troy Lee rtr will perform better than the 1.0 as its chassis lay out is the 2.0 lay out.

Default Losi SCTE 2.0 or Troy Lee Edition

Want to get a new truck, and before anyone says it I do not want the slash. I will be pretty much bashing, but I was sure what you thought of the value of the kit over the troy lee edition? Thanks for your thoughts.

If you don't have a radio and motor/esc already then the troy Lee looks like a decent deal for bashing.

Anything in particular that sets them apart to you? Keep in mind I want to run on 3s, if that makes a difference. I heard the Troy Lee ESC could only handle 2s, but i am not sure where i got that info from.

Losi website says it runs on 2 or 3s. For bashing the avc on the radio will be a nice feature to have especially on 3s.

Its a good solid truck, i ordered the tlr hinge pins and holders, and the tlr shock towers. I bought mine as a roller new off eBay. Just tossed in a hobby wing Sct pro and a tekkie pro4 4600.

Since there are 2 very similar threads I merged them. It appears the conversation flows OK, the one overlap I see includes the quote responded to. PM me if there is any concern I missed.

Why not just put all the posts in the SCTE 2.0 and close these two threads.

I wanted to investigate further. Looks like any differences are minor.

Please use the existing SCTE thread.
