Default cheap Esc motor combo for 1/10 scale short course truck

so my motor and/or esc just went out on my exc torment i decided to go brushless i currnelty race it in a open class (yhea i know) so any motor will work would like it to be fast and relabel with some torque too also it has to be able to run on a 2s system because anything above 2s is banned at my track thanks for any ideas

Ive been recommended to 2 setups a TrackStar ROAR approved 1/10th Stock Class Brushless ESC and Motor Combo (13.5T) form hobby king

and a hobby power system there both form china so i'm not that sure about them what do you guys think or do you have something else

I use this combo from RC Juice. 140 bucks shipped and works like a charm.

4t 8900kv would be to much for any offroad 2wd short course application.

Yes the ESC is available by itself

sure will.

I have seen people use 7.5t motors on loose, dusty outdoor track in 2wd sc, its all about how much control you have.
