Default Dirt getting stuck in screws

Does anyone know how to stop the clay getting stuck in screw heads or how to remove it?

Chassis protector to prevent it from happening and an Xacto knife to remove the dirt.

Just use a drill bit smaller than the screw head, chuck it up in the drill, hit each screw with it for a couple of seconds. Works great. I Do it every time the car comes off the track. Takes like 20 seconds. Been using the same drill bit for 3 years.

It works great. You will keep a cordless drill in your box just for this. Soooo much easier

I use a straight pick. They work great for dirt in screw heads, and almost anywhere else dirt gets stuck. You can get a pack of picks of assorted shapes at menards for pretty cheap.

I use a small flat screw driver, very thin and narrow. Sometimes I even put some wd40 before to soften the dirt. then I use a air compressor to chase the resting dirt away.
always a pain in the ass to really made it clean in order to use the hex driver without trouble...

The best way is to keep your car rubber side down always. If you MUST crash, I find a cheap dental pick is a necessity in all pit bags.
