It's not cost effective to convert, look for a nice used SC5M

What's the consensus for best Wheels for the SC5m. I run slicks, and they last awhile. Don't want any stripped hex's to be left with good tires....

Had the first runs with my kit SC5M on a loose grip (max medium?) clay track. Cant say I love this truck.
Normally all guys run B5Rs (so you know that its really low grip, kit B5ms dont have a chance).

You have so many steering almost zero rear grip (just like a B5M ). Is there any kind of setup I can look at or any recommendation to make this truck feel better? I tried my sadle pack and this makes it quite better, but still: You cant accelerate out of long curves or you will spin that damn thing

Few easy things, Raise ride height, soften suspension, remove washers from tower ballstuds add more rear weight under battery.

It's sold out since December. Here's what I wrote a few posts earlier in this Thread:

Sorry the sales for the SC5m were greater than our initial order, we are behind and trying to catch up, if all goes well they will be here around the end of May beginning of June.

What I now wonder is: B6/B6D will be out in June... SC5M should be out again in June as stated by AE... just coincidence or is there really a SC6 coming?

Brass C block, decrease anti-squat, 30° front bulkhead, grey springs in front with heavier oil. Mid motor needs to be driven differently too. Try not to pitch it into the corners. Drive it into the corners, carry as much speed as you can, hit the apex and smooth your way out of them. Tighten the diff a bit too and if you are running a gear diff....that probably explains the problem. Can you get some video of your truck on your track? That might help us help you better.

Will note everything down and try to get a video tomorrow (if my girlfriends allows toy-car time )

If you have plural girlfriend"s", then that is your problem! You can also add a bit of weight to the rear as long as you keep it in front of the rear axle. I'm currently running a shorty inline with 58 grams of lead split between each side at the back of the rear cradle. The truck was actually a blast to drive on a pretty slick, outdoor, 1/8th scale track on a day when it was super dry and windy.
