My setups between SC5M and T5M have been pretty close. Shock setups are a little different but the rest of the setup is nearly identical.

Default Aluminum bellcranks

Why is everyone running the aluminum bellcranks here? Does it help and what is the additional weight added? Thx

The aluminum bell cranks are fine but what I run on my SC5M and T5M are the aluminum rack. I've never broken a plastic bell crank but I've snapped a couple plastic racks. The weight isn't much of a concern, especially if your running a 3 gear and/or your truck isn't nosing down in the air.

anyone tried the new JC low profile body? Time for a new body and wondering if that body lowers the cg and reduces body roll.

I've got a buddy I race with who is VERY good and has one. He said he was surprised at how little of a difference it made. That being said, I need a new one pretty soon and it will probably be what I end up with.

I just noticed they have a light weight version. I assume that mean thinner lexan and less durability. Unsure though. I had a yokomo with a with a light weight body and it felt different than normal lexan.

Does the standard HF bolt right up? I know jack squat about SC bodies, lol. I thought I read the hole patterns are the same as the sc10/sc10 4x4

I always run the standard high flow. I believe the rear body mount is quite a bit further back but it has been a while since I ran my SC10. The fit on the high flow is pretty darn good, especially in the rear where the posts come up through the flat area of the body. I also always use Prolines body mounting nuts....because I HATE body clips.

yeah, the eclips suck....link the part number to the proline ones you use. I might just get the standard high flow. easier to find and my 10 year old races the truck more than I do...she would destroy a light weight body. If the HF2 was significantly better in the corners, I was going to give it a try

Im painting one up right now. I seriously doubt that I will be able to notice the difference, but it looks good anyway and the lower CG cerianly can't hurt.

Well, I ran my SC5m in the WA EP Off-Road state titles. I've only been running EP off-road for not quite 4 months now and it was my first major off road event.

I got 3rd place

First time I have ever podium at a state titles event (Been running on-road for 8 years now) so it's already looking good for the nationals this year (same track)

I can't say for sure, but the body has a HUGE impact on the center of gravity of a short course truck. They sit up high, we generally put a bit of shoe goo in the critical areas to keep them solid....they are truly what makes a short course truck a challenge to drive.

Here are the Proline body screws that I have been using: body mount screws
