Aluminum bellcranks
Why is everyone running the aluminum bellcranks here? Does it help and what is the additional weight added? Thx

The aluminum bell cranks are fine but what I run on my SC5M and T5M are the aluminum rack. I've never broken a plastic bell crank but I've snapped a couple plastic racks. The weight isn't much of a concern, especially if your running a 3 gear and/or your truck isn't nosing down in the air.

Does the standard HF bolt right up? I know jack squat about SC bodies, lol. I thought I read the hole patterns are the same as the sc10/sc10 4x4

I always run the standard high flow. I believe the rear body mount is quite a bit further back but it has been a while since I ran my SC10. The fit on the high flow is pretty darn good, especially in the rear where the posts come up through the flat area of the body. I also always use Prolines body mounting nuts....because I HATE body clips.

Well, I ran my SC5m in the WA EP Off-Road state titles. I've only been running EP off-road for not quite 4 months now and it was my first major off road event.
I got 3rd place
First time I have ever podium at a state titles event (Been running on-road for 8 years now) so it's already looking good for the nationals this year (same track)

I can't say for sure, but the body has a HUGE impact on the center of gravity of a short course truck. They sit up high, we generally put a bit of shoe goo in the critical areas to keep them solid....they are truly what makes a short course truck a challenge to drive.
Here are the Proline body screws that I have been using: body mount screws
