Ah thanks, I didn't even flip past those pages yet. I'll check it out tonight.

Speaking of what would be some setup tips for low to medium grip dirt/clay to help reduce sharp low speed turn in and possible loose rear end that will slide out under power. Think I may need to loosen the diff a little. BUt mostly want to know a couple tricks for next week.
Stiffer springs and oil in the front, less droop in the rear, more rear toe, front sway bar. I ran the rear brass C block with 3.5 rear toe and I currently have the shortest link possible in the front. And of course, the tires are 90% of it.

I 2nd what bds81175 said. Is the surface loose or hard packed, dusty and dry or damp?

Congratulations I'm jealous... ordered mine at my LHS on Dec. 13th, but Thundertiger Europe still hasn't got any kits...

AE seems to care very less about their customers in Germany. I'm a bit disappointed...
It took 3 months for my gear diff for my B5 to arrive too...

Nice!!

It's a common question I get asked frequently..."How do you like the Sc5m?"

"If you like shortcourse, you'll like the Sc5m, it's 95% awesome right out of the box."

Years ago did a conversion of a GT2 to GT2-SC, put an extension on the front of the GT2, about 14 months before AE offered the SC10GT. About a year and a half ago converted it to electric. Won many races with this. Many losi SC owners changed there RC to mm to compete.

GT2-SC-E moc-up >> http://www.t3t4webservice.com/SC10_GT2_e.html

Raced a XXX-SCT, Blitz, Slash (2 and 4 wd) and SC10. Drove a Proline Slash and the losi22sc.

Hobby shop had a raffle ($20 per, only 15 tickets) for the SC5M that I have, yep won it.

Told all the above so you would know I'm an experienced builder/racer << 620 races 1240 qual's. The SC5M is SO MUCH BETTER than any SC I have ever drove.

Upgrades needed for a SC5M >>>> front gray spring!!!

Shorty is better on the tracks I race on then the brick!!!!

The 3 gear is a PER track upgrade.

===

Now waiting for Cav's CRCRC setup to see what diff's from the ROAR setup. :-)

Might not matter to anyone already in this thread, but Massdrop.com is running a group buy for the team kit @ $259. Joined it myself, but thought someone else might be interested - only 3 days left.

I've had good luck with holeshots when it was damp, then gridiron 2's or square fuzzies when it dries out . Depending on the amount of dust .

Nice track. What do they "seal" the clay with?
