Stiffer spring in the front with heavier oil (I'm currently running 37.5 front with an orange spring from the previous kit). Drastically drop your drag brake or eliminate it. The mid motor won't need it. All mid motor vehicles like to be driven differently than rear motor. Make every attempt to carry corner speed through all the corners. You will end up using the brakes very little around the track. If you do have a corner you need to brake for do it prior to the corner and drive through the corner on throttle. When setup correctly you will find that being on the throttle brings the rear end back in line in almost all cases. I've never experienced the nose down issue over jumps. Try the suggestions above and see if that makes it go away.

nose down issue over jumps
Normally is one or both of these (not in any order)
Butt slap << back end hitting the track hard enough to cause the front to drop in the air.
Fix(s) at rear
a. stiffer springs
b. stiffer oil
c. smaller holes or fewer holes in pistons
Drag Brake << motor slows (excessively) causes the front to drop
Fix(s)
a. Remove it from your ESC (set to 0%)
b. Turn up the throttle on your radio (throttle trim) << same as holding the throttle on a bit

I should have stated, I've added no drag brake. I'm not sure if/what my esc has in it for a factory setting, I'm running the Works Team Flow.

my daughter truck noses down at srs also if I try to scrub....so I dont bother and just throttle up the face. Kinwald told me the truck is too light. He has to add brass just to get to legal weight. But he added like 100+ grams of brass, lol. I am referring to the brass for your rear traction issues. And HT Tucson is not a high bite track and I am not sure I would rate it medium. More like blown out and rutted.

I mean, I'm yanking wheelies down the straights, in my sc and my buggy. The buggy is only a 10.5, so not stupid power. I'd say the bite can be pretty high.

the vent holes are primarily made for reducing parachuting on jumps

So I bought these two items for the front spindle.

After assembly, the m4 locknut will clearly not fit. M5? I don't have one to try. I wish AE would state what locknut you need if it isn't the stock m4 locknut.

An M4 is the stock locknut that comes with the kit for all four wheels.

We run brass c and d plates and have good luck with them
