When I has an SC10, once it was in the air, it was hard to control. I feel this truck is very sensitive in the air. If you try to scrub a jump, you might nose under and front flip. Our track does not have any long distance jumps, that require you to "pin it to win it". So that might be the difference. Anyway, durability seems good. My front bearing are not getting gritty, so I wonder if AE made some changes in the last year to the front hubs and/or the black seal bearings. Anyway, in short. The truck is still much better than I was expecting it to be. This weekend I might race it to shake it out. I really need some different front springs. If anyone has a good kyosho front spring for track tracking running slicks and wet tacky clay, I am listening
I would recommend reds and yellows I run yellows on my T5M. Yellow I believe is like a red AE and Reds between blue and yellow. But it is pure speculation bc they dont have a chart for Kyosho truck springs that I can find just buggy.

many locals run AE purple on the front, for some perspective. I run AE run on the front of my B5m. LOTS of traction here

Well the stiffest Kyosho Truck spring is Orange, I believe, which is one step above Yellow so I guess get Yellow and Orange.

I'm not sure if they are available yet but AEs new truck springs have part #'s now. Its a little weird as they only go 1 step firmer and one step softer and that's it. You can ID them as the fronts are 54mm and the rears 72mm. Just look in the manual and add or subtract 1 from the part #s for the kit springs and that will give you the #'s for the optional springs.

Default X Rings

Im building the new Kashima Shocks and was wanting to know if there is a difference in the Xrings vs the regular rebuild kit. Not really sure any help would be appreciated. Also what else do I need to rebuild the internal parts. The O-rings? Does the X-rings replace the red O-rings?

Xring Rebuild kit comes with the plastic bushings, they are the same as the kit ones. Xrings by themselves are just that, no difference in the rings. Xrings replace the red orings

cool thanks so just need the Xrings to replace the red Orings and the spacers. Im assuming this helps with leaking and to use green slime also or no.
