That's funny because a track in Southern California has said their shipment was pushed back to August 5th.

I do not own an RC store, but I have worked retail (and breifly at a couple of RC stores. MOST stores get their RC cars from a distributor (GreatPlanes/Horizon/???) so the product has to get to Associated, passed on to a distributer and then to your hobby shops. The delivery times will be off by days (those stores that buy straight from AE will get product on a different timeline than those from distributors).

The only way around this would be to have a "Street Date" like movies and music, back when they were distributed on disks, which means that even if a store has product they are not allowed to sell it before the street date. I do not think this is the case in the RC industry. There will be up to a week of difference in when stores get there product in the US. (those of us who pre-ordered from a mail order site 'may' get it the same day it arrives at hobby shops.

So does that mean Hobby Shops like Hobby People which are in an AE distributor should get theirs relatively the same time as an online store would? Or the same time as an online store would ship it?

They should. Hobbico here in Reno, got theirs today, and they ship Tower's orders from there.

It's a MAP price which is dictated by Associated. It should stay there for a while unless Associated's costs go up.

I had mine preordered at Amain it says limited quantities at Tower does that mean its in stock tried to call missed them by 5 minutes. Also I'm ordering white satellite wheels so will 3mm offset work or go with the zero offset. I have all my electronics ordered except servo can you make a good recommendation. Thanks BTW started with SCT racing but love my b5m that things is a blast to race. However, I still love racing my SCT.
