What body does everyone prefer? Does any body help better with parachuting? What are you using / doing to help reinforce the body? What areas are prone to cracking and need to address?

JC High Flow 2 is the best SCT body i have driven. Shoe Goo'ing Drywall Mesh in the key areas - wheel wheels and Mounting points. hope that helps.

  • 1.4x3 pistons in rear
  • Kyosho X-gear White spring in rear
  • -1 camber front/rear
i went to the 3-1 toe setting and that seemed to be a step in the right direction

Anyone use Pro-Line 6269-00 sway bar kit to make a sway bar for the SC5M? If so, please post pics. Thanks

Which turnbuckles are best to go with over stock? Lunsford or Factory Team? What length are turnbuckles?

I made mine from the SC10 4x4 kit. I was looking into the Pro-Line one, but choose to go with something I could modify a little more to sneak in between the small gap of the buggy shock tower and shocks.

I'll get some pics of mine tonight.

Does yours rub the tie rods when turn lock to lock?

Default Body roll

Any setup tips to help prevent body roll? Current setup is Cavs nationals setup. Middle hole postions on front/rear shock towers. Using gray springs, 1.5 shock up front and 1.6 in back. Using 3 limiters on rear and 1 on the front.

Also just installed the Schelle aluminum rear hub set on my Sc5m. On my B5m the stock ball stud 6mm work perfect but the ball stub on the SC5M are 10mm. I will replace with 6mm but wanted to confirm before doing so. The instructions are just for the B5M.

Just barely hits the linkage at full lock. Yours looks good.

Here's mine. Used some left over traxxas links with a custom bar and mounts. Huge difference in handling
