Has anyone tried a laydown kit for a b5m or t5m laydown kit in an sc5m?

Default 5m with lay down

I have seen a couple at our track. I and looking for a Anders Lind laydown transmission to run in mine on a carpet track.

Have any of you tried running the shorter B5M shocks on your SC5M on the carpet. I tried on a carpet off road not terrible but need to try different springs and maybe mount on inside hole on a arm.

I just put the ACRC 3 gear box in mine. It seemed to help out a good bit for moving weight bias forward. Our track is usually high grip tacky clay, but when I tested it, the track was a little dryer and didn't have quite as much grip. Even then, the truck felt great. I'm excited to see what I can get out of the truck now.

I have the ACRC 3 gear in mine too. I run on Carpet. I had to put Gray springs on the front and heavier oil in the front shocks but now it runs times not that far off from my B5m with a Yokomo YZ-2 Laydown Trans

Are you wanting to replace the pin at the bone end that's pressed in or the pin that goes through the bone to axle?

I now think you are referring to the pin that goes into the outdrive....correct?

Those are not replaceable on AE cars....and most other 1/10 cars as well.

Which wheels are for this truck? There are too many different SC wheels being made these days. LOL
I'm looking specifically for the correct AKA wheel. Thanks

shucks. I know TLR had them. They may be a standard dowel pin that I can find anywhere.

Matt are you racing at LRH Hobbies Labor Day? should be a good time.

They need to be a 3mm offset 12mm hex...for any wheel you get..

I've never seen them on any TLR / Losi / AE 1/10 vehicle...only on 1/8 stuff.

I will not be. I was down at ocrc on friday / saturday.

Can anyone give me info on cutting the front chassis brace and cradle?

What did you notice when you cut them and maybe even a picture?

This truck was so dialed at the LRH race last night. I loved it. I slammed it per Ryan cavaleri's SRS set up and it was hooked on the track. The grip levels last night at the track were extremely high so slicks were the tire of choice. Enjoying this truck very much over my tlr 22 sct 2.0 which i am still sad to say is gone, but not forgotten.
