Gray springs made a difference for me. Just installed them a couple days ago. Smoother driving. Easy, cheap tuning option

The SC5M is SO GOOD out of the box, the gray front springs is about the only NEED upgrade.

Everything else is fine tuning.

I cant leave well enough alone so i installed the SC10 front and back bumpers made by RPM on my SC5M... ...little modification in the front, all i needed to do is drill 2 holes used for the steering servo..lines right up..probably isnt the lightest..but i wanted mud-flaps on my car for cool scale factor

What do you think?

I dig mud flaps, sorry they ever went away.

Ok question my truck is pretty good but my electronics on the other hand is a different story. Ive switched esc and battery running a express motors beast revtec base motor now after 3 or 4 mins it goes flat and its tough to make the easiest double on our track geared 81 27 with a 3 gear switching back to 4 gear just for more traction but any input
Orion r10 full punch trinity 4500 mah high voltage battery

I'm wondering... is it possible to remove 200-300grams from these trucks? Mine weighs in at 2.2kg. Not running any after market parts. Futuba antennaless Rx, Tekin RS ESC, 5600mah saddle packs.

check your temps. if the esc or motor get hot, power can fade. I doubt a 4 gear will help you.

Sadly, no shorty packs. Might have to get some for my SC5m and B5m. What about square packs? Or are they just as heavy as saddles?

With a titanium screw kit and turnbuckles my sc5 is 26 grams over weight, if you run on high grip you don't want the truck lighter from a handling perspective, less likely to traction roll

A square pack is going in the wrong direction the cheaper way is protecks super light battery for about 50 bucks all the other options are way more in hop ups the truck dosnt need nothing to be competitive

I think I may to switch to shorty packs, might be best for my buggy as well. I think I found those Proteks on Amain, looking at $65 after conversion and before postage. But saying that, I need to source shorty's here in Australia.

Might have to try and get the light weight motor plate and gear box gears. Not sure how a 3-gear will go with a 10.5.
