im looking for a little tuning advice. on my local track its high grip clay and im im getting a lot of front end diving and wheel chatter up front and a little push. im at 30mm in the front and 28 rear for ride height . I have the grey spring up front and white rear and 32.5 shock oil. should I be using a higher shock oil?

I've raised my roll center in front (no washers under the inner ball stud and short link). Are you running the 3 gear yet? That helps reduce some of the movement front to rear on and off the throttle and brakes. I should be looking at this from a different perspective: diving and chatter are symptoms, not the performance problem. What part of the track is the truck not performing in properly that is causing you to lose lap time?

I read up. What I found is that wider track will tend to reduce the load transfer to the outside when cornering, which in general will increase cornering power since you'll be able to get more traction from the inside tires. So once again, increasing the track will tend to reduce understeer.....so making the car narrower will increase understeer. Contrary to what I thought it might actually reduce steering. Last, by narrowing the truck you will also change the balance front to rear as you change the ratio of width & length.

the only setup sheets I see on the associated website are both from Cavalieri.
and there basically the same. it would be nice to see what some other people are doing. I need help getting this truck to hook up. the back end is squirrely as hell

3.5° rear toe with the brass hinge pin brace, stiffer front spring and oil...otherwise, the correct tires for the track. I'm running a short wheelbase with the 3 gear and I can put down power like crazy. Brick pack all the way back. I'm running on relatively good grip indoor clay. I have a new set of Panther Rattlers on that have great grip but are wearing quicker than the MC Electrons that I had previously.
