The hardest part was putting new wires on the esc, cause I shortens them to fit!!!!

Cutting the plastic bit was NOT hard at all.

Do need to get a better battery bar that will keep the shorty in position. Stop any front siding and at the rear of shorty from sliding side to side. Doesn't slide much BUT don't need it sliding at all.

this has happened to guys at my local track alot.
take some pliers and sqeeze the hex together.
that way your not leaving all the work for the tiny
screws

Also, you buy a slightly longer screw, that way you are getting more treads to grip. The screws that come with the hexes are a bit too short imho.

Just made the switch from mod to stock sct with my sc5m. What are you stock guys doing for lightweight upgrades? What are the more significant/important upgrades for stock racing. My truck is completely stock at the moment.

It all has to do with preference i wanted to keep the characteristics close to what my buggy is with the 3 gear plus the less weight is better for stock racing

It's not better...it's a tuning option.

In "general," 3-gear will be flatter with less weight transfer, the 4-gear more rear grip and a bit more reactive.
