Based on experience it will already be fairly heavy out of the box and likely will be very close to perfect minimum weight as assembled. Probably will be great with a short pack.

I wouldn't run anything but a square pack in this! The weight plants the T5 and I love it that way. I'd probably run a shorty if you're running a stock class though.

Im trying to buy my lungsford turn buckles and front axels for this truck, but I don't know what size they are? are they the same turn buckles and axels as the stadium truck?......and does anyone know a more accurate release date on this truck? other than July lol.... got everything else ready to go for this truck, can't wait!

I don't suspect even even Associated could give you an exact date.

The best I've seen is mid July. I've just learned not to agonize over it, it'll get here when it gets here.

The turnbuckles are for sure the same length as the T5. The front axles... Not 100% sure because I know the front hex is narrower.

*** just looked. There is a new front axle! So the T5 axle won't work properly.

I show part # 71012 for the front axle on the associated site, same as the T5m. Same with the rear axle, #71019 with 8.5mm hex option. Amain also shows these as compatible with t5m and sc5m.

The associated site also lists part# 71033 SC5M Front Axle.

The front of the sc5m will take a 6mm hex and not the 8.5mm like the t5.

My local dealer told me second week in July. Other than that who knows.

Strange, I stick with the stock axle style in lieu of the clamping style. I bought the exotek titanium lite axles and really like em, hope I won't need new ones for converting to the SC5m.

more than likely the sc5m axle will be shorter.

Because according to Roar rules you need a 540 sized motor because it's 1/10scale. Kit is designed around a 1/10 540 motor.
