Is the avid slipper going to fit on this, because I tried last night with no luck. I didn't take that much time messing with it, because I only had an hour left to build it before the race on Friday. Just seemed like it would go on the top shaft even with it's cut sides.

Loving this truck. 1st time out with it today and I qualified 3rd . Finished 2nd in the A-main also led a few laps. Outdoor clay/dirt mix light dust . The only thing I've change from the box setup is I'm running the aluminum bulkhead, brass C and D blocks with the 3.5/ 1 inserts. Proline holeshots. I also dropped almost 2 seconds off my previous fast times. I used to run a scx-60cf .

it fits. the qc on some of the AE topshafts, requires a little finesse to get the drive plated on.

I had the same issue when I 1st got my T5m. I just adjusted my throttle control off jumps. My Sc5m even reacts differently that my x factory .

You may want to try the 3-gear transmission or a heavier battery. My T5M jumps much smoother with the 3-gear, now all I have to do is adjust my driving a little. If you are running on low-grip, try to stiffen up your front suspension a bit.

You was right. Took me about an hour of reading it, but found a post by Randy. Tekin Redline Gen2 2wd buggy 30 on the timing and 2wd sct 20-25. I'll give that a try tonight as a starting point.

what kind of issues would I have running SCTE wheels on this truck. I have a set of new Typos which are the tires to run at my track. they are just broken in and I am not running my SCTE anymore.

LOL, I get that but in a pinch could I use these without any negative side effects until I can new one. I kinda blew my budget buying the kit and the electronics.
