I'm starting box stock other than 3 gear and schelle slipper. Likely take it to the track tomorrow. I'll post whatever I find out.

I plan to run the avid slipper and use my b5m setup as a guide

I was looking for the box stock setup. What springs did they send with the kit, New style or old bb springs?

Interested to see the box setup. How can you identify that they are the new springs. I'm jealous mine is in transit from NV coming UPS. I probably won't see it until the end of the week knowing them

Brother has his on the way. Tower code saved $30.00. Be a few months before I can get one.

Is the hardware standard or metric?

Buzz.

Metric IS the new standard!

The new truck springs have less windings compared to the standard big bore springs, similar to the old Yokomo B-Max springs. I ran some orange and green Yokomo springs on my T5M today, and the truck was much better than before. I can't put my finger on it, but this type of springs seems to work better for heavier vehicles. I prefer the Yatabe springs on my buggy, but on my SC10 and now also on the T5M, the old Yokomo stuff works better than my plethora of Associated, Avid and new Yokomo springs. Good job by AE to release their own set, it will make replicating team driver set-ups much easier!
