I had not run on carpet in 20 years and that was Stadium truck on small carpet oval till this past April. It was my 1st carpet on road with jumps race and hopefully my last. But anyways it was a 2 day race and on day one my SC5M was doing the same thing you are saying, weight transferring to left front then roll. I finished 3rd in the A main on Sat, had to slow down early to make the turn. Sat night laying in bed I remembered how we made the stadium trucks run on the oval. 3M black tape! Cut standard width electrical tape in half, then wrap the outside edge of the outside front tire with a couple wraps of the tape. 1st in A main on sunday with the tape trick. Cheep, easy, no cutting of the tire. Back in the dirt the next weekend and just peeled the tape off and was ready to go. I was using gold pressure points all around.

Will this work on slicks for clay?

Thanks for the feedback. To better answer your question when making a hard tight turn the one of the wheels in the rear lifts up off the ground causing the car to flip over most of the time. For example when coming down the back straight away into a hard right turn (almost a 180) the rear right tire will left up several inches off the ground, causing all the weight to transfer to the left side of the truck and then flipping over. Breaking hard in the corner will only make the problem worse.
Looking for any suggestions on what to change or a good base to start on for a small to medium size indoor high traction carpet setup. Thanks

I just bought Associated 3x35 and 3x27.5 Shock Shafts V2 TiN, and the stock pistons do not seem to fit. The piston can wiggle around as the inner diameter of the piston is quite a bit larger than the outer diameter of the shaft. Which pistons work for the V2 screw mounted shafts?

There are a ton a fan mounts on Shapeways, and most run 30mm fans. I personally like wild turbo fans.

As fan I also use a WTF (Wild Turbo Fan).

No,
V1 uses e-clips to hold the piston, V2 uses bolts. Its not really an improvement necessarily that they would do a running change, its more of an option/upgrade if you dont like the e-clips. I like v1 because I have a bunch of v1 pistons and the v2 are more expensive.

Needing some help on increasing my brake strength. Below is the setup I am currently running. What can do to increase the brake strength. Sometimes when applying the brakes it stops right away and other times it takes longer to stop.
Hobbywing XR10 Pro ESC
- Brake Strength Set at 100%.
- Linear Curve
- The Frequency is set at the default setting on the ESC
DX4C
Brake is set at 100%
My T5M and B6 do not have this issue. Running the same settings on those but I have a V3.1 ESC.
