Reduced most of the body roll coming off of a fast straight heading into a sweeper. I am able to carry more speed without lifting the inside wheels off the ground.

I only run shorties...I race against a guy who runs square packs for the weight. I tried both and like the way mine felt with the shorties. I could see on a loose track where a square pack would help, but I run indoor med/high bite track. Also run 17.5, so don't want the weight.

I run my shorties inline and it has also limited body roll by keeping it centered.

I agree, a front sway bar is a great upgrade and makes a huge difference.
When diving into any turn and decelerating, it keeps that back end from lifting the inside wheel. Prevents body roll keeping the weight more evenly spread across all tires so as not to break traction.
I run front and rear sway bars and a very soft spring. Soaks up the rumbles and keeps the truck level.

I use this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...FR24wAodELIJJw

Had to drill new mounting holes. The bar that came with was pretty thick, so I picked up a couple different thickness of piano wire and bend new bars. I mounted the linkage to the bottom shock screw.

Thanks for the reply. I will try that for sure. I run on carpet, and had problems with a 60 degree turn @ the end of a straight away. I just finished installing a shapeways laydown in it. I bet with the front sway bar it will make an even bigger difference.

I used the SC10 4x4 front sway bar kit. And run the second heaviest wire that comes with the kit. I have since switched to the WallieBuilds kit.

Your direct install no mods would have been the Walliebuilds SC5M Front Anti- Roll Bar Kit Version 1. It came with arms and top plate already drilled out for the sway bar. But they no longer make it. You may find some running around for sale still.

The Walliebuilds SC5M Front Anti- Roll Bar Kit Version 2, is cheaper but you don't get the arms or top plate. So you have to do some mods.

Nice, I wonder why AE never made this an option?

Looking to gain some more punch out of my truck. Anyone feel the stock slipper is soft compared to a Schelle or Avid? Running 17.5 medium grip indoor clay.

Quick question for you guys.

What shock cap bushing do you use with the FT Aluminum shock caps?

Not a trick question, trying to mount BB on my son's SC10.

Thanks!
